The mayor of Pula, Boris Miletić, and Gordana Lučić, director of HEP ESCO d.o.o. signed, on May 30, a Contract for the Implementation of Energy Efficiency Project in Public Lighting System of the City of Pula.
The total value of the project is 13.5 million kuna. The City of Pula expects savings in the amount of 900 thousand kuna a year after the project is completed.
Director of HEP ESCO, Gordana Lučić, said that the implementation of the project would greatly benefit Pula as the city would get improved lighting, with significant savings in electricity consumption, and at the same time contribute substantially to the fulfillment of commitments taken on by signing the Kyoto Protocol.
The completion of the project is expected before the end of November 2009.
