IN HEP Training Center Velika, HEP organized a working meeting for representatives of the federation of consumer association called Potrošač about two most important pieces of secondary legislation which define the relations between HEP and electricity customers.
These are the General Conditions of Electricity Supply and Rules on Charges for Connection to Electric Network and Increase in Connected Power.
Opening addresses were given by Dr. Željko Tomšić, Assistant Minister of Economy, Labor and Entrepreneurship, Tomo Galić, Chairman of Steering Council of the Croatian Energy Regulatory Agency, Kažimir Vrankić, member of HEP Management Board for distribution, Mišo Jurković, Director of HEP Operator distribucijskog sustava and Ilija Rkman, President of Potrošač. As part of thematic speeches, General Conditions were presented by Ivan Mrljak, Head of Customer Relations Unit of Elektra Karlovac, and Rules on connection charges by Ante Pavić, Assistant Director of HEP Operator distribucijskog sustava.
After the presentation, during discussion, many questions were asked by representatives of Potrošač which will - as they have until now - be solved in cooperation with HEP. It was emphasized that the story about consumers has only just begun with reading and clarifying the new provisions of the above mentioned documents. So cooperation is needed among HEP, CERA, Ministry of Economy, Labor and Entrepreneurship, Potrošač and the media.
