By 2030 HEP is planning to increase the proportion of renewable energy sources from 35 to more than 50 percent.
This aim is to be achieved by revitalization, i.e. the increase of capacity and generation of existing hydropower plants, by constructing new hydropower plants and by investing into wind power plants, solar power plants as well as other renewable energy sources.

There is an ongoing Call for expressions of interest for the development and sale of renewable energy sources projects, and HEP shall accept expressions of interest of interested Partners on a permanent basis, i.e. until the Call is revoked.
