In the elementary school Marija Jurić Zagorka, Zagreb, on December 14 there were numerous students, teachers, parents and donors gathered to mark the end of a successful humanitarian action called Elevator for Zagorka Students and putting the elevator in service.
The unfolding of this exceptionally noble and praiseworthy action, which was initiated by students, teachers and parents back in 2005 to enable the students and young friends with special needs, Kristijan Bosanac and Filip Vicetić, to move in the entire school building with more ease, was outlined by Principal, Marija Konjević, certainly one of the most deserving for its successful completion. The event was also attended by the Minster of Family, Veterans’ Affairs and Inter-Generational Solidarity, Jadranka Kosor, who said she was very glad to be a part of this beautiful human action and promised to participate in the next action of this school – for school loudspeakers.
