Nikola Tesla Memorial Center in Smiljan opened,On Monday, July 10,2006, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of birth of the world renown inventor, President of the Republic of Croatia, Stjepan Mesić, President of the Croatian Parliament, Vladimir Šeks, and Prime Minister, Ivo Sanader, opened Nikola Tesla Memorial Center in Smiljan.
