Today, February 7, the first HEP's vehicle to use biodiesel has been presented in the presence of Assistant Minister of Economy, Labor and Entrepreneurship, Željko Tomišić, and member of HEP Management Board, Kažimir Vrankić.
The pilot project of biodisel use will serve to assess the possibility of replacing mineral diesel with biodiesel at HEP Group level. The project is based on the study of biodiesel use for HEP’s fleet of cars, prepared by the Faulty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb. The performance of the first biodiesel car will be monitored over a longer period, in cooperation with the manufacturer and domestic scientific institutions and laboratories.
