On New Year’s Eve, Croatian President, Stjepan Mesić, visited the Management Board and National Dispatch Center of Hrvatska Elektroprivreda in Zagreb, becoming the first Croatian president ever to visit HEP.
After being welcomed by the Management Board, the President was informed about development projects for 2007 by Ivan Mravak, President of HEP Management Board, at a short working meeting. After the meeting, President Mesić visited National Dispatch Center where Ivica Toljan, member of HEP Management Board responsible for transmission, briefly informed him about system operation stressing that NDC is the place from where the entire Croatian power system is operated.
