Born in 1979, Ante Elez, PhD graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb in 2003, specializing in the Department of Electrical Machines, Drives, and Automation. He pursued postgraduate studies at the same Faculty, earning a master's degree in 2008 and completing his doctoral studies in 2010, when he was awarded the title of Doctor of Technical Sciences.
In 2003, he began working at KONČAR – Institute of Electrical Engineering Ltd., focusing on development, research, and monitoring systems in the Department of Rotating Machines. At the end of 2016, he joined KONČAR – Generators and Motors, initially as a Management Board member and later as President of the Management Board from 2018 to 2022. From 2022, he held the position of Director at Visum Energy Ltd.
Dr. Elez's scientific work centers on the measurement, calculation, and analysis of electrical machine parametres. He is the author and co-author of numerous papers published in journals, and presented at scientific and professional conferences in Croatia and abroad. He is also the recipient of many awards and recognitions for his contributions.
